The windows throughout the 1st and 2nd floors were replaced with new construction Pella windows in 2015. Recent upgrades include painting all ceilings & walls of main level, new mailbox, new Ecobee smart thermostat, and a smart light home system (smart switch in kitchen, 2 in back, fan & ceiling light in office & bedroom--all Alexa-controlled). In the basement, there is a sump pump with battery backup, water softener, and radon mitigation system. If the heat pump fails, there are 2 back-up water tanks with heat coils that can feed the forced hot air system. The well water is great, but public hookup is available if desired.
